WORK WITH NORTHLINE · KODIAK, AK

Like fixing the thing nobody else will?

Northline is a one-person tech-help shop in Kodiak. Small websites, software audits, getting tools to talk to each other, and the database nobody wants to open. When the work outgrows me, I bring in people who are good at exactly this.

If that sounds like you, tell me what you do. I keep good people on file even when nothing is open.

WHY THIS

Real work, real people

The clients are Kodiak businesses you can drive to. A fish processor, a clinic, a charter outfit. You fix the thing that was actually slowing them down and you see it land.

You pick up range fast

One week it is a Supabase schema, the next it is a Klaviyo flow or a website that needs to load on the ferry wifi. You will not get bored.

Flexible, remote-friendly

I care that the work gets done and the client is happy, not where you sit or what hours you keep. Kodiak weather and the road system are real. We plan around them.

Fair pay for the project

I quote honest rates to clients and I pass that through. No unpaid trial work, no vague equity promises.

I read your code, you read mine

Small shop means no review backlog and no mystery process. We talk it through, we look at the diff, we send it live.

Room to shape the work

If you are good and you want more of a say in what we take on, that door is open. This is a young business with a lot of unclaimed ground.

OPEN ROLES

Nothing posted right now.

That changes when a project gets bigger than one person. Send a note below and I will keep it for when it does.

APPLY

Tell me what you do.

A few lines is plenty. A resume helps but is not required. If it looks like a fit, I will get back to you.
